ISSTD rules of submission
-
All presenting authors must register for in-person attendance by 30 August 2026.
-
All speakers are expected to disclose to the audience any financial interest or other relationship with the manufacturer(s) of any commercial product(s) and/or provider(s) of commercial services discussed in an educational presentation. You will be asked to confirm these interests during submission.
-
If the author(s) are using generative-AI in the abstract-writing process, this should only be used to improve the writing style. Authors must check any AI-generated text before submitting it, and must disclose that it has been used within the body of the abstract. Authors should not list AI technologies as an author or co-author, nor cite AI as an author. The author(s) are responsible for the contents of the work, ensuring it is accurate and original.
-
All abstracts must be submitted via the official Congress online submission system. Abstracts sent by fax or email will not be accepted. No exceptions will be made.
Peer review and program development
-
All abstracts are anonymously peer reviewed, scored and allocated on merit to oral presentation (OP) or electronic poster (EP) presentation.
-
Scientific program sessions will be formulated around accepted abstracts to ensure that the final program reflects the current research interest of our delegates and achieves the highest possible scientific standards. Invited and special lectures are chosen to complement this material.
Recording of presentations
By submitting an abstract, you authorize ISSTD to record your abstract presentation (if accepted) during the XXIII World Congress on Gestational Trophoblastic Disease. All, or a portion of, presentations, discussions, questions and answers, comments, documents and presentation slides presented will be recorded and may be selected for inclusion on ISSTD event platform, website, and on-demand web portal for members and other users as well as used for promotional purposes.
Abstract notification
-
Abstract submitter and the presenting author will be notified as to whether their abstract has been accepted or not in August 2026. Full details, including the format/timing of presentation(s), will be notified to accepted presenters at that time.
-
Abstract presentations will be accepted in PowerPoint format only. More information will be made available on how to upload your PowerPoint slides for the Congress after your abstract has been accepted. There will be no possibility for virtual/pre-recorded abstract presentations. All abstract submitters must register for in-person attendance and be prepared/capable to present their abstract in person.
-
Any abstract presenter whose abstract is not accepted, and who is unable to attend the Congress in-person, will be entitled to a refund of their registration fees minus an administration charge.
